Following Dagenham & Redbridge’s 3-2 win over Rotherham United in today’s play-off final at Wembley, the full list of Wycombe Wanderers’ opponents in League Two next season has now been finalised.

One of the downsides to our recent relegation is the increased number of unappealing journeys our diehard fans will be forced to undertake in order to watch the Chairboys on their travels next season.

Here’s a list of our league opponents in 2010/11 along with the distance to their stadium from the Handy Cross roundabout adjacent to the M40. (Courtesy of Google maps).

Oxford United………………26 miles
Barnet……………………….37 miles
Aldershot Town…………….42 miles
Stevenage…………………..49 miles
Northampton Town………..61 miles
Cheltenham Town…………66 miles
Southend United…………..79 miles
Gillingham…………………..87 miles
Hereford United…………..101 miles
Burton Albion……………..117 miles
Shrewsbury Town………..138 miles
Port Vale…………………..140 miles
Chesterfield……………….144 miles
Crewe Alexandra…………147 miles
Lincoln City………………..147 miles
Rotherham United………..158 miles

At least there are no arduous journeys to Carlisle and Hartlepool this season, but on balance it would have been much more convenient to stay in League One!
