Brandon Hanlan joins Stevenage

|

Brandon Hanlan has joined fellow League 1 team Stevenage on loan until the end of the season.

Hanlan has fought hard to come back to fitness after sustaining a knee ligament injury last season in the home match against Stevenage. But since returning into the fold, he has played 13 times and scoring twice with goals in cup ties against Crawley Town and Portsmouth.

Chief Football Officer Dan Rice commented on the clubs website: “This is a brilliant opportunity for Brandon to play regular football in League 1 and help him get back to his best following his lengthy absence. Our options in attack mean that his game time here has been limited but we’re excited to see what he can do at Stevenage and wish him every success during his loan.”

Brandon Hanlan is Stevenage’s first signing for Alex Revell’s side in the January window as he looks to improve his attacking options and subject to EFL and FA approval could be included for their home tie against Exeter City tomorrow.
