Just as all our hopes were up that Tommy Doherty would be on his way back permanently next year, it seems that Barry Fry’s League 2 version of Chelsea seem to be showing an interest.
With Darragh McAnthony’s millions being plowed into Peterborough, it is difficult to see ‘The Doc’ turning down a lot more money to play for us despite his enjoyment here. I speak for every Wycombe fan here and hope that money doesn’t talk in this situation as there’s nothing like our bearded cult figure to increase season ticket sales!
