So far this season, Wycombe Wanderers have kept only one clean sheet in 29 games.

Full back Danny Foster has played in 22 of those games and in the wake of yesterday’s defeat at Bournemouth he was interviewed on Chairboys Player.

With the Blues gifting two more soft goals to the Cherries, Foster was asked about the confidence of the defence and whether he could put his finger on the problem.

“Well, I don’t think there’s a problem back there you know,” said Foster.

“It’s a team game and as a team we haven’t scored today so I could flip that and say, well come on strikers, what’s the problem, why haven’t you scored, so that’s my answer to that.”

“It’s a team thing. We’re all in it together, it’s not a defender’s fault or the back four’s fault or the midfield or the strikers, it’s a whole team collective thing.”

The first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem.
