Wycombe travel to Swansea’s Liberty Stadium for the 2nd time in 2 years in cup competitions as the sides face each other in the second round of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.
Swansea got to this stage by defeating London boys Millwall at home whilst Wycombe got a chance to put their feet up after receiving a bye to this stage of the competition.
With a vast squad at his disposal, it remains to be seen if Paul Lambert is to take this competition seriously. Despite having a ‘Mickey Mouse’ tag attatched to it’s name, the competition certainly does have a dangling carrot of a day out at the new national stadium and I don’t think any Wycombe fan can deny they would love a day out to Wembley to cheer on the Chairboys!
