Wycombe Wanderers have signed Welsh Under-19 goalkeeper Alex Lynch who was recently released by Peterborough United.
The 19 year-old has been given a two-year contract at Adams Park where he will be reunited with goalkeeping coach Barry Richardson who he worked under at the Posh.
Richardson told wwfc.com: “I’ve known Alex since he was a 16-year-old and I’m really pleased to be working with him again. He is another young keeper to add to the two we already have. He has played for his country, so he’ll be a great addition to the squad.”
Samsung ‘Win A Pro Contract` competition winner Nathan Evans has also joined the Blues on a one-year deal.
The 19 year-old winger spent last season at Whitby Town.
Blues’ boss Gareth Ainsworth said: “Nathan showed some fantastic technical ability. He also looked comfortable within the squad environment which can be daunting for any new player never mind a 19-year-old on trial. I’m looking forward to working with him. He has seized this chance with both hands.”
Wycombe now have 20 players under contract, including 5 youngsters who have never started a Football League match.
