Wycombe Wanderers have signed holding midfielder Marlon Pack on a one-month loan from Portsmouth.

The 18 year-old has been a regular in Portsmouth’s reserve side during the last couple of seasons and has been captain on several occasions.

Speaking to his club’s official website, Pack said he was looking forward to joining the Chairboys.

‘Reserve team football is good, but this is an opportunity for me to play first team football. It will be a great experience for me to learn from someone like Peter Taylor,’ he said.

Taylor himself told Wycombe’s official website: ‘We wanted to bring in a holding midfielder and although Marlon is young, he fits the bill perfectly. With Tommy Doherty injured it was important we got someone that can play in that position.’

Pack is with the Chairboys until 29th September.

Midfielder Danny Spiller has now left the club.
