There is no fresh news as yet, regarding Leon Johnson’s shoulder injury or Gavin Grant’s mysterious absence.
Manager Peter Taylor has a potential selection headache regarding his back four. If the immaculate Leon Johnson is fit to play and as expected, resumes his partnership with Mike Williamson in central defence, will that mean makeshift Right-Back David McCracken is relegated to the bench, in view of Lewis Hunt’s excellent debut in that position against Barnet on Tuesday.
After three successive draws, Wycombe have somehow managed to hang onto top spot in the league. Whilst the other close challengers have failed to take advantage, what has happened, is that the pack below have gained ground on the leaders. Only 5 points separate the Wanderers from 8th placed Darlington and it would be a boost for everyone if Wycombe could get back to winning ways this Saturday.
