24-year-old Goalkeeper Nathan Bishop has signed for the Chairboys, having previously been linked to the club in the Summer of 2022. He signed a one-year loan deal that will take him through to the end of the 24/25 campaign.

The goalkeeper, then 22, was heavily linked with a loan move from Manchester United, having been at Mansfield Town in League Two, but was instead kept by Erik Ten Hag as a third choice goalkeeper. The young keeper then joined Sunderland United the summer after, signing a three-year deal, but has found games thin on the ground in a time vital for his development. Since the signing of goalkeeper Simon Moore, Bishop has subsequently been allowed to leave on a loan deal.

The goalkeeper joins Franco Ravizzoli, who signed a new contract with the Chairboys that was announced today, and young Kosovan Laurie Shala who continues to recover from his broken collarbone sustained in an injury while on loan at Potters Bar. Bishop will take squad number 1, vacated by the outgoing Max Stryjek.
