Wycombe Wanderers travel to Forest Green Rovers on Monday for their 26th league game of the season.

The Chairboys were beaten 2-1 by Mansfield Town at Adams Park on Saturday.

Adebayo Akinfenwa’s 13th goal of the season gave Wanderers a half-time lead, but Steve Evans’ Stags had the measure of their hosts after the break and goals from Alfie Potter and Lee Angol turned the game on its head.

As a result, the Chairboys drop two places to 6th with 40 points from 25 games, 2 points less than they had at the same stage last season.

Manager Gareth Ainsworth named a completely unchanged starting line-up against the Stags.

The bench also remained the same, with no sign of Scott Kashket or Marcus Bean.

Paris Cowan-Hall was subbed at half-time and must be considered doubtful for Monday.

There is no news on how long Adam El-Abd and Anthony Stewart are likely to be out of action.

Michael Harriman continues his rehabilitation after breaking a leg almost three months ago.

Forest Green Rovers were beaten 2-1 by Lincoln City at Sincil Bank on Saturday.

The Green Devils are now without a win in their last 6 league matches and have collected just one point from the last possible 18.

They lie bottom of the League Two table and bottom of the current form guide.

Head Coach Mark Cooper made just one change to his starting line-up against the Imps.

Mark Roberts was handed a recall to the side in preference to Callum Evans who dropped to the bench.

Omar Bugiel returned to the bench after recovering from injury. He replaced Drissa Traore, who missed out through injury.

Cooper has no new injury concerns ahead of the New Year’s Day visit from the Chairboys.

Shamir Mullings is available following a facial injury but isn’t expected to be selected.

Alex Iacovitti (hamstring), Dale Bennett (knee) and Drissa Traore (thigh) are all rated doubtful.

Toni Gomes and Will Randall have returned to their parent clubs following the end of their loans.

Alex Whittle and Dayle Grubb have both signed permanent deals but aren’t yet eligible.
