Wycombe Wanderers entertain Barnet on Saturday in their 14th league game of the season.

The Chairboys had to settle for a share of the spoils when they drew 1-1 with Mansfield Town at Field Mill last weekend.

A well-worked goal from Matt Bloomfield gave Wanderers the lead, but an equaliser nine minutes from time thwarted their mission to collect three points on the road for the first time since early February.

Gareth Ainsworth`s side have now gone sixteen away games without a win in the league, and have collected only two points out of a possible 21 on their travels this season.

Luckily it`s a different story at Adams Park where Wanderers boast the third-best home record in the division with an impressive haul of 13 points from a possible 18.

Overall, the Chairboys have lost six, won four and drawn three of their 13 league matches this season to occupy 16th place in the League Two table.

Ainsworth made two changes to his starting line-up last time out with midfielder Matt Bloomfield and striker Adebayo Akinfenwa both handed recalls to the side in a switch to a 4-3-3 formation.

They replaced wingers Garry Thompson and Sam Wood, who both dropped to the bench.

Winger Myles Weston made a welcome return to the bench after recovering from a groin injury, while midfielder Marcus Bean was also among the subs following a knee injury.

Defender Will de Havilland and midfielder Stephen McGinn were both left out of the 18-man squad.

Ainsworth has reported no new injury concerns ahead of this weekend’s clash with the Bees and will check upon the fitness of Scott Kashket, who has missed the last two games through illness.

Goalkeeper Scott Brown is back in training following two months out with a thigh injury while no timescale has been mentioned for the return of midfielder Luke O’Nien (leg fracture).

Striker Dayle Southwell faces at least three weeks out following surgery on his groin whilst defender Max Müller (hamstring) isn’t expected to be back this side of Christmas.

Barnet crashed to another defeat when they let slip an early lead to lose 4-1 to Exeter City at the Hive last weekend.

The Bees are now without a win in their last six league games.

Martin Allen`s side have won two, drawn six and lost four of their twelve league matches and after Saturday`s defeat they dropped another four places to 23rd in the table.

Allen made four changes to his starting line-up last time out with goalkeeper Jamie Stephens, defender Harry Taylor, midfielder Curtis Weston and striker Alex Nicholls all handed recalls to the side.

They replaced defender Bondz N’Gala and striker Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro, who both dropped to the bench whilst loan goalkeeper Josh Vickers and midfielder Sam Togwell both missed out through injury.

Striker Shaun Batt was recalled to the bench after recovering from a knee injury.

Winger Jamal Campbell-Ryce will be assessed ahead of this weekend’s clash with the Chairboys after aggravating a calf injury.

Josh Vickers (wrist) and full-back Elliott Johnson (hamstring) both remain doubtful whilst Sam Togwell (hernia surgery) faces six weeks on the sidelines.

Defenders Gavin Hoyte (anterior cruciate knee ligaments) and James Pearson (knee surgery) will miss the next two months whilst striker Michael Gash faces surgery after suffering an ACL injury and isn’t expected to play again this season.

Midfielder Tom Champion has been recalled from his loan at Lincoln City and will go straight into the squad.
