Following the deadline-day loan-signing of Kevin Betsy from Southend United, Wycombe Wanderers manager Peter Taylor has been talking about the transfer on his club’s ‘Chairboys Player’ website service.

‘I’m pleased because I think it allows me to have another wide player that can beat somebody and I think Kevin Betsy can also play up front at times, and that will also allow Zebroski to go and play up front at times,’ said Taylor.

‘I was very pleased that we got Kevin back, he’s a popular member here and he’s got good experience. It’s the experience I was looking for.’

Taylor also revealed that he had been chasing Betsy’s signature a month ago on a permanent transfer, but terms could not be agreed.

The Blues boss also stated that he had no enquiries for any of his own players on deadline day.
