4,000 people saw Wycombe start the League Two season with a 1-1 draw with Morecambe at Adams Park.

Morecambe ‘keeper Barry Roche had to save from Chris Zebroski to keep scores level but the home side finally broke through when Lewis Spence (34) fired home from the edge of the area to give Wycombe a half time lead.

Roche again saved brilliant to deny Gavin Grant from adding a second for Wycombe and keep Morecambe in the game before they equalised through David Artell (66) to earn a share of the spoils.
