Wycombe Wanderers have signed striker John Akinde on a one-month loan from Bristol City.
Akinde joined the Robins from Ebbsfleet United in September 2008 for a fee of £140,000.
It was thought to be the first time that a player had been sold following a fans’ vote.
During his time at Ebbsfleet, he scored 10 goals in 19 starts and 9 substitute appearances.
He also played at Wembley as a member of Ebbsfleet’s 2008 FA Trophy winning side.
Since Joining Bristol City, Akinde has made 1 start and 6 substitute appearances and has scored 1 goal.
The 19 year-old who is 6’2′ tall will be with Wycombe up to and including their game against Gillingham on Saturday April 11th.
