Blues to visit Hayes & Yeading in FA Cup

Wycombe Wanderers will travel to Hayes & Yeading in the first round of this season’s FA Cup.

The Blues visited Church Road in pre-season and ran out 3-1 winners thanks to two goals from Kevin Betsy and one from Scott Rendell.

Hayes & Yeading are currently 20th in the Blue Square Premier League with 17 points from 16 games.

Wycombe went out of the competition at this stage last season, losing
2-0 in a replay at Brighton’s Withdean Stadium following a 4-4 draw at Adams Park.

Hayes & Yeading failed to make the first-round proper last season, losing 1-0 at home to Staines Town in the fourth qualifying round.

The tie will be played during the weekend of Saturday 6th November.
