As the 2007/08 season approaches, many former Wycombe players have moved on to pastures new and this feature will highlight how they’re doing in pre-season.

Kidderminster Harriers defeated AFC Telford 2-0 on Friday night with a certain Matthew Barnes-Homer coming off the bench to score the second goal of the night.

Former full back and porn star lookalike Clint Easton played for 57 minutes in Hereford’s 2-0 defeat to West Brom. Blues u-turner Simon Johnson also impressed for the Bulls in this game, where he is currently on trial.

Former Wycombe favourite Darren Currie featured for 68 minutes in Luton’s 0-0 away draw against Rushden & Diamonds and impressed throughout.

Defensive flop Leon Crooks featured for 90 minutes for his former side MK Dons in a 1-1 draw at Bedford Town as he aims to win a contract under new manager Paul Ince.

Long-term Wycombe right back and now Millwall mainstay Danny Senda also played 90 minutes in Millwall’s behind closed doors friendly against Aldershot.

Ex-Wycombe loanee Drewe Broughton has signed for MK Dons and scored a penalty in their home win against a Chelsea XI.

The re-named Ebbsfleet Town (Gravesend and Northfleet) had Lance Cronin in goal against Millwall and he made a calamitous mis-hit clearance in the match.

Aldershot Town convincingly won 5-0 away at Farnborough last Wednesday with Steven Gregory featuring and ex-striker Jonny Dixon tapping in the 5th and final goal on the night.

So there we go, old Chairboys are moving about a bit and it will be interesting to see how they progress over the season and to see Clint Easton back at Adams Park, not the best of players but certainly one you can back to put 100% effort in.
