RHINO SIGNS UP: TRUST APPOINTS KEITH AS VICE-PRESIDENT

Wycombe Wanderers Trust is delighted to announce that Wanderers legend Keith Ryan will be an Honorary Vice-President.

Trust Vice-Chair Francis Glenister welcomed the appointment saying:

“We want Vice-Presidents who are as passionate about Wycombe Wanderers as our members and we are absolutely delighted that Rhino has joined us. As a player and coach, his commitment to Wycombe Wanderers was plain to see and, as a result, he earned huge respect from the fans. We are delighted that he has accepted the invitation to join us and we hope that many supporters will follow him into membership.”

Keith played 517 games for Wanderers over 17 years. He became Club captain and was a vital part of the team during a period of unprecedented success. During his playing career the Chairboys won two FA Trophies, the Conference title and a play-off final to establish themselves in the third tier of the football league. They also reached the FA Cup Semi-Final, where Keith scored Wanderers goal against Liverpool. He had a brief stint as player-manager when Tony Adams left, before joining the Wanderers management team under John Gorman.

Now youth team coach at QPR, Keith said:

‘I am proud of my association with Wanderers as player, as captain and as part of the management team. I am proud to be Vice-President of the new Trust. I still have a great relationship with the Wanderers supporters and I think that the Trust’s role both in representing those fans and in protecting the heritage of the Club is really valuable. I am delighted to be involved with the Trust.’

Keith`s appointment follows that of Karen Adams as Honorary President. A second exciting Vice-President appointment will follow shortly.
