In the wake of yesterday’s 3-0 drubbing at Bristol Rovers, here are some views on the game from Rovers’ manager Darrell Clarke and a selection of their fans.

Clarke described his hat-trick hero Matty Taylor as “the best striker in League Two.”

“He’s a striker high on confidence and his finishing was devastatingly clinical,” he said.

“It wasn’t a pretty game of football in the first-half but we defended well, and I still felt we had the better chances.”

“After the break we changed a few things around as the game opened up and it was pleasing to make the breakthrough and then to go on and win the game.”

As you might expect, the Rovers’ fans had a field day.
