Wanderers home clash with Cobblers postponed

Wycombe Wanderers League Two fixture with Northampton Town has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Adams Park.

Heavy rain has fallen in the Chair Metropolis over the last 24 hours and has left the pitch covered in large puddles, most notably in the Valley End goalmouth.

Referee Mr Brendan Malone called the game off just after 11am on Saturday morning after inspecting the pitch. The game is likely to be re-arranged for Tuesday 9th April but the date will be confirmed in due course.

Next up for the Blues is a trip to Valley Parade to face Bradford City on Tuesday 19th March 2013. Kick off is at 7.45pm.
