Wycombe manager Peter Taylor has appointed Martin Brennan as the new goalkeeping coach.

Brennan comes from Tottenham Hotspur, where he has been the Academy/Reserve goalkeeping coach for over two years.

Manager Taylor told his club’s official website: ‘I’m delighted that Martin has decided to join us. I’m sure he will enjoy working with the goalkeepers and hopefully he will be here for a long time.’

Brennan also spoke to the official site, saying: ‘Peter Taylor was a big factor in my decision to join the club. His experience in the game is second to none. I loved it at Spurs, but when you know that Peter Taylor is interested in offering you a position, especially in a first team capacity, it’s very hard to turn down.’

Brennan replaces Laurence Batty, who left the club last week.
