Wycombe Wanderers will hope to get back to winning ways and keep their title challenge alive when they take on Lincoln City at Sincil Bank on Tuesday evening.
Lincoln City are currently 13th in the table with 44 points from 33 games played, 20 of those points having been won on their home turf at Sincil Bank.
The Imps are currently 13 points away from a play-off place but do have 2 games in hand on 7th placed Gillingham.
After a dreadful start to the season which saw them pick up only 6 points from a possible 24, Lincoln turned things round in impressive fashion with 16 points out of a possible 18 in October.
Unfortunately for them, the revival stopped there and they didn’t win any of their games in November, picking up only 2 points from a possible 12.
The following month was a little better with the Imps winning twice, but their home victory over Accrington on the 12th of December was the last time the Lincoln fans have seen their side win at Sincil Bank.
January brought them an away win at Gillingham but their other 4 games were all draws. Then last month the Imps drew 1-1 at Morecambe and won 1-0 at Port Vale, before returning to Sincil Bank and losing 1-0 to Rotherham.
So far, March has gone from one extreme to the other for Lincoln. An Excellent 3-0 win at Dagenham last Tuesday was followed on Saturday by a humbling 5-1 defeat at the hands of relegation strugglers and local rivals Grimsby Town.

Wycombe Wanderers are currently 2nd in the league with 62 points from 34 games played, 28 of those points having been won on their travels away from Adams Park.
The Chairboys are currently 4 points behind league-leaders Brentford but have 1 game in hand.
Wycombe’s draw with Chesterfield on Saturday was enough to keep them in second place but the chasing pack nearly all won to increase the pressure on the Chairboys as the season enters it’s final stretch.
It’s five games unbeaten for them now but with three of those games finishing all square, taking their total to 14 draws so far this season, Wycombe will know that they have to find more wins if they are to maintain their challenge at the top of League two.
Despite a drop in form after Christmas, the Adams Park side are still 5 points better off than they were at this stage last season, but that was only good enough for a play-off place and Wycombe have their hearts set on going one better this season and achieving automatic promotion.
Before Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Chesterfield, the Chairboys won 1-0 at Dagenham, had successive goalless draws with Rotherham and Morecambe and then beat Chester 2-0 at Adams Park last Tuesday.

Lincoln will be smarting after their heavy defeat at the hands of local rivals Grimsby on Saturday and will feel they owe their fans a better performance against Wycombe. Those fans have only seen four home wins all season and will be hoping to see the Imps pick three points up at Sincil Bank for the first time since mid December.
Wycombe aren’t creating much at the moment but would dearly love to win this one in order to keep the pressure on league leaders Brentford ahead of next Saturday’s top of the table clash.
