Torquay United have confirmed the permanent signing of Wycombe Wanderers’ forward Chris Zebroski for an undisclosed fee.

Zebroski has been on loan at Plainmoor for the last six weeks, during which time he’s scored four goals in seven League Two appearances.

Torquay manager Paul Buckle said: “I am delighted that Zebs is now our player full time. We want players who can step up and play at this level and believe me, Zebs is a very, very good League Two player.”

Last season, Zebroski scored seven goals during the Chairboys’ promotion winning campaign, and this term he scored twice at Charlton Athletic on the opening day before losing his place in the side when former manager Peter Taylor was sacked.
