Wycombe Wanderers have appointed Richard Dobson as Gary Waddock’s new assistant manager.
Head of Youth since 2008, Dobson took over the assistant’s role on a temporary basis at the end of last season following the sudden departure of Martin Kuhl.
Speaking to wwfc.com, Dobson said: “It’s a special opportunity for me to influence the playing side from top to bottom and I’m really looking forward to it.”
Waddock said: “He was my number one choice for the role and I’ve really enjoyed working with him. He fitted in extremely well with the first team at the end of the season – we have an excellent relationship – and I also think it will be good for the players to be working with a familiar face.”
